Transform Your Marriage: From Struggling to Thriving

You’ve heard the stats: over 50% of marriages end in divorce.
But here’s the real shocker – 67% of second marriages and a staggering 74% of third marriages also end in divorce.
Let that sink in.
So many of us are chasing what we desire most: to love and be loved. And yet, we keep repeating the same painful patterns, convinced that if we just find the “right” person, things will magically work out.
But here’s the truth:
Love isn’t about finding the perfect partner. It’s about becoming the right partner.
And yes, society has made it far too easy to abandon ship. “If it doesn’t work, just get divorced.” But as someone who’s been through it, let me be clear: divorce is a big deal. Especially if you have children. And often, it’s far more painful and disruptive than closing the gap between where your marriage is now and where you want it to be.
I get it. You might be thinking:
“Things will never change.”
“My spouse is selfish.”
“I do everything.”
“It’s not my fault.”
I’ve been there. More than once.
I remember feeling so stuck, so defeated, that I just did nothing. Maybe that’s where you are right now. If so, I want to encourage you to stay open. Even if your marriage is in a good place, there’s always room for deeper connection.
Let me ask you this: When was the last time you asked your spouse, “Do you feel loved by me?”
It’s a powerful question. And yes, it can be a little scary. But sometimes, the first step to change is being willing to ask.
Here’s what I know: We all want to feel loved, seen, and appreciated. And over time, we can forget how to show that love. Or worse, we start taking each other for granted.
But you can break that cycle.
Reconnecting is often simpler than we think. The first step? Decide that a better marriage matters to you.
Start by shifting your mindset. Focus on what your partner does right. Remember those qualities that made you fall in love in the first place? They’re still there – you may have just stopped noticing them.
When you start truly appreciating your spouse again, love expands. Connection deepens. And the energy in your relationship changes.
Your spouse will respond.
Small daily changes, intentional appreciation, and a mindset of possibility can shift everything. It’s not about perfection. It’s about progress. About showing up differently. About choosing love, even when it’s hard.
Because love is a decision.
And when you choose love, you have everything to gain.
With encouragement,
Michelle
